Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
100g sugar (brown or white)
2 eggs
80ml vegetable oil (or melted butter)
1 tsp vanilla extract
200g all-purpose flour
200g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
50g chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions for Banana Bread :
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan (about 9x5 inches) with parchment paper or grease it.
Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir in the mashed bananas.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing gently (avoid overmixing to keep the bread light and fluffy).
If desired, add chopped walnuts or chocolate chips and stir gently.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
